The little Mission Style desk I bought at a recent yard sale go moved upstairs into the main hall. Marty still has to refinish the top and the give it a little once over but for now it is inside being enjoyed. I finally put my bell jars to use. I bought them last year at the Merrickville town-wide yard sale. The little glass house has two sailor dolls, some clay marbles and antique children's shoes in it.
When I was cleaning out my sideboard, I came across the silver-plate pedestal I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. So, after a little gathering of items I ended up with this. They need a little more work but I think it is a fine beginning.

Looks beautiful Jennifer. I'm hoping to find some bell jars one of these days. Lucky find. So many things you can display in them.
It's a great beginning! In all of my junking adventures, I have never found a dome...Lucky you to find 3...They look great!
