On A Cold Gray Day
It was a chilly day today so some time in the kitchen was in order. My new-used food processor was up to the task. The larger bowl meant I could triple the recipe and kill two, no three birds at once.
My old food processor was finished after 21 years of faithful service. This one is a beast but does a lovely job.
The result? Three pear kuchens. I bought some lovely organic pears at the grocery store with every intention of canning them. They however ripened up too fast, or I was too slow in the canning department. No biggie. Dessert is ready!
