Spring, no, Autumn Cleaning

Down the road from us there was a large desk in somebody's yard with a big "FREE" sign on it. Marty apparently had noticed it the night before and thought nothing of it but when I was driving by with Joshua the next day we did take notice. That evening Marty and Josh hooked up the trailer and brought it home, leaving it in the barn, until room could be made for it. It was destined for the garage. When I finally got to take a closer look, it was love at first sight. Long story short, here it is after cleaning, sanding and a little stripping. To rearrange everything on the wall was easy, but it was also a good time to do some serious cleaning.
When you begin cleaning one area, it tends to travel to other areas so here is Gumdrop, happy to finally be able to sit in the orange chair~it normally has stuff on it(mainly to keep the dogs off).
This tiered metal table is an old yard sale find which I painted years ago. It's been tucked under the stairs making things difficult to get at. All the windows in the upstairs addition had these heavy pine shelves as part of the window trim. Fine unless you want to put something near the window! This was the last to go.

I love the picture of your dog Gumdrop on the orange chair, and what a fab desk!
