My favourite in the world of antique dolls is the "china head" made of glazed porcelain and often but not always with molded hair. They were sold as complete dolls or as just heads and limbs for those who wanted save money and make their own bodies. I love the sometimes goofy old cloth bodies found on these lovely heads.
This is not a pretty white. You see there is no longer a path to my house from the driveway. Really, there was one before last week.
Here is "Milky the Wonder Cow" She has been a dusty fixture on top of my fridge for many years now.
Here is some more of that nasty white stuff. I hope that it isn't too much longer before this old workhorse is carrying earth for the garden.

Isn't snow so lovely during the first snowfall of winter? Somehow, after the 48th or 101st, not so much anymore...
Argh. Too much snow! Love the pic of the "path" that used to be there. Here's to spring!!
