I found this lovely old book originally published in the '30s called "People of Importance." The important people he is referring to are children.
The artist has depicted children in lovely line drawings in all manner of activities.
They are beautiful and inspiring. There is a short story with each page of pictures too. A real treasure at twenty-five cents!
