This has been in my head for a while. I tend to create art in my imagination, while doing domestic tasks. By the time I actually get to make something, it's been done a hundred times already~in my mind!
The egg nestled in the curled leaf is from the box of eggs posted after this post. It's almost the same colour, creating a small visual surprise. I've pressed a lot leaves over the years, but my favourites are the ones left to their own devices to dry naturally, curling this way and that.
