Many Thanks

This wonderful Taffeta dress is a "Priscilla of Boston"

I want to thank three lovely women for taking a day to drive down to visit the shoppe. It was a delight to meet them and a great time was had by all. We even did some ATC trading! I am encouraged by their kind words and enthusiasm. As the shoppe closes at the end of December, I will be putting together several projects to offer at workshops later on.
Detail of bow on the back of the dress.

On another totally different note, I had the neatest experience this morning when stepping out to visit the compost bin. When I opened the door I was overwhelmed by a sound I had never heard before! The sky was black with what I assumed were the largest number of Grackles I had ever seen. The sound was deafening. They all headed to a group of trees in the neighbour's yard and continued the cacophony. Hitchcock's "Birds" had nothing over these guys! A few minutes later, they were gone and the air was silent again. As my hands were full of vegetable matter, I am very sorry I was too far from the camera.
