Shabby & Chic

I have been scavenging parts of old books for years and noticed the other day how nice they looked without their covers, all stacked up.


This morning I woke to the old familiar sound of rain, lots of it. It is still February, isn't it? Well we always get a little warm spell before the next big cold snap or snow storm. Not always with rain though.
It's gloomy out so I thought it high time to share the freshly washed, reassembled, and newly located chandelier. Joshua rewired it so it is now officially a "hanging lamp" which means that should we ever move, it comes with us.
Much like the guy who rebuilds and engine and finds he has "spare" parts left over when done, I have a bin of glass garland bits that don't seem to fit anywhere. I'll have to further investigate that at a later time.
