I was thinking the garage was looking somewhat faded and worn out. Amazingly, Marty agreed and he and the boys gave it a fresh coat of stain.
A few critters needed to be relocated before the job got underway. Joshua found this little guy under a bucket of rocks.
The weather held off nicely and they made good progress over a few days.

This little toad and its partner were happy to find their way right back to where they have lived all summer. They hang out around the light above the sign and catch bugs. Then they retire to their cozy spot behind the sign to rest.
Marty and the guys will paint the trim on the weekend. Vacation is over. Back to the old routine, again.
