This the penny rug I got a week ago at a yard sale. It is a lovely antique and was a bargain at only a dollar. The owner had used it for years on her own long harvest table.
At some point the mice got at it and had a good time chewing away at parts of it. Hence the one dollar price tag. I was thinking I would hand wash it and take it all apart, putting it back together again with the remaining pieces that are in good shape. As my table is long and narrow, I can change the layout a little bit too. I'll let you know how it goes. This might take me a little while!
