This tidy little stack of one gross (144) of dainty crocheted pieces is divided by the dozen with delicate pieces of pink tissue. They are only 1.5 inches square.
This box screams the 60's. What does it hold?
Inside you find six souvenir coasters of famous places in London, England. You can put your drink on it!
How about an old box of wooden laundry buttons? Apparently a "great gross" is twelve dozen times twelve.
The instructions are simple enough. I'm not sure what "smutting" or "crocking" the shirt means. I guess they are a "clean" wooden button.
Inside it seems much of the great gross remains.
