An old friend dropped in for a visit last Friday. I haven't seen her in about five years. She brought along a wonderful gift. Look at those funky fenders.
On the back is a label, "Bavaria." I thought it might help find out more about this really neat object. Nope, not so far.
I am guessing this stroller dates from the 30's or 40's. I found some other strollers with fenders from that period. From what I can see it did not have a "bonnet" or hood to protect the wee one from the sun. I look forward to cleaning it up. A special thank you to "L" for thinking of me.
